Ray Zahab - Founder, Expeditions Director
Ray has won numerous international ultra marathons of distances from 100 to over 200 miles in length in some of the harshest conditions on the globe. He and two other runners recently ran the entire width of the Sahara Desert—7500 kms (4600 miles) in 111 days with no rest days—and in the process learned of the seriousness of the water crisis in Africa. The run was documented in a film directed by Oscar winner James Moll and narrated by Matt Damon. One of the goals of the film is to raise awareness for the water crisis in Africa. Ray is an established ultra marathoner and speaker who uses his athletic career to support intiatives and causes he believes in. Ray is official Athletic Ambassador for the ONEXONE organization and is a board member of the Ryan's Well Foundation. Bob Cox - Executive Director
Bob Cox has been in athletics all of his life (a lifelong surfer with nearly 10 years in the surf industry) and has recently found his stride in endurance endeavors such as the Canada OnexOne, the Oceanside 70.3 Triathlon, multiple 50k’s, and the San Francisco 24hour footrace race with a top ten finish. He spent much of his youth surfing in the Pacific Ocean and from those experiences his passion for our big blue planet was formed. Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Policy from California State University, Northridge. His appreciation for clean drinking water grew from his profession as a potable and recycled water Cross Connection Specialist in California. In October 2007, Bob met Ray at a Livestrong event in Texas and from that moment he knew his life had changed. From that day forward the two men have dedicated their lives to the message and ideals of i2P.
Dr. Ewan Affleck - Science and Education Director
Ewan brings the combined skills of physician, administrator and ultra runner to the i2P team. A graduate of the McGill School of Medicine, and Dalhousie University where he studied history, he has worked and lived in Northern Canada since 1992. He is the long serving Medical Director of the Yellowknife Health and Social Services Authority and Clinical Director of Family Medicine at Stanton Territorial Hospital. He has conceived designed and implemented numerous successful Health Information Technology projects. He maintains an active clinical practice, providing both hospital based and remote community services. He is passionate about designing sustainable health services for remote northern communities. Ewan has been running for many years, and much prefers to run on snow than on asphalt. He served as the Medical Director for the 2008 Arctic Winter Games, and volunteered as a physician at the Vancouver Olympics. He has won 2 northern ultra marathons. Based on his commitment to physical fitness he was one of 20 Canadian physicians selected by the Canadian Medical Association to carry the Olympic Torch. He is married and has 2 children who share his passion for sport.
Kathy Adams - Director of Business Operations
Kathy is an Environmental Advisor with a Crown Corporation of the Canadian government whose responsibilities include reviewing environmental and social documentation, benchmarking against international standards. Additional duties include risk reviews and monitoring of international projects. Kathy takes an active role in defining the relationships of i2P's many partners as it pertains to corporate social responsibility policies and initiatives. An experienced ultra marathoner, Kathy has participated in 2 of the i2P Youth Expeditions as both a mentor and coordinator. Kathy also continues to pursue her own athletic goals, with planned running expeditions in the future.
Peter Thum - Advisor
Peter Thum is an entrepreneur. He is the founder of Ethos™ Water (www.ethoswater.com) and Giving Water (www.givingwater.org). Currently, he advises various for-profit and non-profit organizations and is pursuing a new venture. Thum had the idea for Ethos in 2001 while working in South Africa, where he saw water issues firsthand. In 2002, he left his job to pursue his vision to address the world water crisis. He led Ethos as its President through its acquisition by Starbucks in 2005. From 2005 to 2008 he managed Ethos and other businesses as a Vice President of Starbucks and as a Director of the Starbucks Foundation. Thum now serves as Senior Advisor to Starbucks on the Ethos brand and mission. Ethos is sold in Starbucks and marketed by Pepsi to other retailers across North America. Ethos grants to humanitarian water programs exceed $6 million, and are helping over 420,000 people in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to get safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education. Ethos will grant at least $10 million to such programs by 2010.
Mark Dohn - Science and Education Program Coordinator
Mark Dohn is a husband, father of three, educator, and athlete who brings a wonder and passion for the use of technology in experiential education to the team. A competitive cyclist who raced at the highest levels in both North America and Europe, Mark then turned his focus to education. Adding a teaching credential to his Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology from Miami of Ohio, he has spent the past thirteen years advocating for the use and integration of technology in education, and the development of the 21st century classroom.
In 2009 Mark was recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator. In addition to his teaching, Mark is an educational consultant specializing in technology integration and teacher training. Honored as one of the 5 most innovative teachers at integrating technology into the classroom by the Los Angeles Unified School District, Mark was instrumental in designing and implementing a recent series of highly successful 4-day technology workshops for teachers.
Mark has also presented on a series of educational technology topics at the local, state, national and international level. In April of 2011, Mark will receive his Masters Degree in Educational Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University.
Don Henderson - Visual Artist/Technology Education Advisor
Don Henderson is the Senior Manager, Creative Expression for Apple Education. In his role, Don is responsible for creating programs and solutions that integrate Apple’s solutions across the curriculum in both K12 and HiED. In this role, Don has presented keynotes and led workshops around the world, which focus on Creativity & Learning. Don also works with educators and education leaders, who are interested in creating programs focused on integrating media arts and communication technologies into their learning environments.
Prior to joining Apple, Don was the Director of Educational and Library Technology for the Grossmont Union High School District in El Cajon, California. Don is also a two-time Smithsonian Laureate for the award winning Digital Media and staff development programs he created for the Grossmont Union High School District.
Don currently serves on education advisory boards for Full Sail University, NOCCA, and The International Film Academy. Don is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors for the New Media Consortium, a non-profit education organization focused on the impact of New Media and Technology for learning. As an artist, Don sees instruction as a very visual and hands-on experience. Using media as a tool for communication, he applies a simple strategy to both instruction and staff development: Create an engaging environment where the learner must take responsibility for their own learning. By integrating a production process across the curriculum students become better communicators and therefore better learners. By Providing the students with the inspiration, an innovative learning environment, a plan, and the most flexible and creative tools, Don has created empowering programs that help all learners explore new ways to communicate and learn with technology.
Katherine Belendiuk - Program Development, Education Advisor
Kat is a Ph.D. candidate in developmental and clinical psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. She has taught at the collegiate level and as a research psychologist has published a half a dozen peer-reviewed articles on adolescent risk behaviors in professional journals. She has won national and local awards for her academic work, including a prestigious fellowship from the National Institutes of Health. She has used her background to create educational modules for the Baffin, Tunisia and Amazon expeditions.
As an ultrarunner and triathlete, Kat is a member of Powerbar Team Elite. In the last 3 years she has completed 13 marathons and ultramarathons, placing in her age group 3 times and as the second overall female once. Her favorite race was the Antarctica marathon where she learned that, if necessary, she can outrun a penguin. She was recently honored as one of Pittsburgh’s 40 Under 40 for her contributions to the community, including her work with i2P. Being an i2P advisor has been an extraordinary gift and privilege and Kat is looking forward to continuing to help develop i2P’s programs.
Adriana Rossi - Education Advisor
Adriana Rossi has been passionate about developing Leadership in youth for 20 years. She has worked extensively in both the private and public secondary school system initiating programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and outdoor education and leadership programs. Adriana holds a Masters of Arts in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University in British Columbia and a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from McGill University in Montreal. In addition she is the president of Leadership Ventures which focuses on sustainable leadership development within organizations. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, triathlete and enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr. John C. Ittelson - Education and Technology Advisor
Dr. Ittelson currently serves as Director of Instructional Technologies for the California Virtual Campus. The mission of the collaborative to support highly effective, innovative, network-enabled teaching and learning opportunities. One of John's primary areas of concentration is on ePortfolio development and utilization. Additionally, he continues to consult to both the CalStateTEACH Project for CSUMB and to the CSU Chancellors Office on an NSF Noyes grant, "Building Locally, Linking Globally: Networking Micro-Communities of New Science and Math Teachers".
Leona Chatwood - Research Assistant
With a background in both Education and Library Science , Leona has had a long career as a Teacher and Library Technician . She has lived and worked in Newfoundland and Labrador, central Canada and western Canada, with her focus being on education and research. After graduating from Algonquin College's Library and Information Technology Program she had been able to combine these two interests. Leona is enthusiastic and pleased to be assisting with the educational research for the i2P Experiential Learning Program.
Peter Sheldon - Research Assistant
Peter is a CBC reporter based in Iqaluit. He has spent the last year and a half traveling around the North, spending time in all three Canadian Territories and Alaska. His formal education includes a BPHE in Physical and Health Education and a BSc in Life Sciences (Queens University, Kingston, ON) as well as a BJ Radio Journalism (King's College, Halifax). While working in Iqaluit, Peter became involved in some of the on-the-ground research leading up to the Akshayuk Pass Expedition. Peter brings a passion for story telling, research and adventure.
Anton Stranc - Expedition Logistics Director
Anton was born in England and emigrated to Canada in 1976. He has worked in Information Systems and Logistics for the last 27 years. His career has taken him around the globe working with engineering and high tech firms. Currently based in Ottawa, he has worked supporting Ray’s expeditions for the last five years, and most recently the i2P Youth Expeditions. He prefers to work behind the scenes ensuring all details are covered and contingencies managed. He is an accomplished endurance athlete, sportsman and father of new baby Erica.
Donovan Webster - Expedition Logistics Advisor
Donovan Webster is a journalist and author. A former senior editor for Outside magazine, he now writes for National Geographic, Smithsonian, Best Life, Vanity Fair, Men's Health, Garden & Gun, and The New York Times Magazine, among other publications. He lives with his family outside Charlottesville, Virginia, United States.
In 1996, he co-founded Physicians Against Landmines/Center for International Rehabilitation (CIR). An international, non-governmental humanitarian organization, CIR was a co-recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize. CIR sponsors wheelchair and prosthetics programs, plus prosthetics-fabrication training and disability advocacy, in post-conflict nations worldwide. In 2006, working with the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Disabilities, CIR was central to the UN's Convention on the Rights for Persons with Disabilities, the most-rapidly ratified UN Convention to ever gain approval by the UN General Assembly. He currently serves as CIR's vice-chairman.
Dr. Shawn M Cooper - Expedition Medical Advisor
As a pediatrician, father of three, and long-time international advocate of child rights and education, Dr Cooper is passionate about giving every child the best opportunity for a healthy, safe, and productive life. He is a resident member of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Section on International Child Health. He has worked with and advised international travelers and groups for over a decade. Dr Cooper's own travels have taken him through North, Central and South America as well as Europe, and Africa. He has organized and participated in multiple projects and fundraisers benefiting individual children and well known child-oriented organizations including Operation Smile, UNICEF, and the Children's Miracle Network.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr Cooper is an avid runner, having completed many marathon and ultramarathons.
Dr Cooper is a senior resident physician in pediatrics at the Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA.
Marshall Ulrich - Expedition Logistics Advisor
In 2008 at the age of 57, Marshall Ulrich completed a 3,063-mile run across America, equal to 117 marathons in 52.5 days, breaking the Masters and Grand Masters record; the third-fastest crossing ever on the San Francisco to New York City route. He is the only person in the world to complete the Triple Crown of Extreme Sports: 121 ultra marathons averaging over 100 miles each; the Seven Summits, including Mount Everest, all on first attempts; and 12 expedition-length adventure races. He has raised over $ $850,000 for various charities, including the Religious Teachers Filippini, whose mission is to “Go and Teach.” Ulrich is an experienced Author, Speaker, Trainer, and Guide, providing these services through his company Dreams in Action (DNA). Judith Stuhrenberg - Expedition Logistics Advisor
Judith Stuhrenberg was born in Paris, and graduated with degrees in history and geography from La Sorbonne. After finishing her formal education, she became an agent for some of the world's top photographers. Evenually she began to travel to the Sahara, where she has been working now for almost 20 years, organizing photo and film shoots, scientific expeditions, rallies, and reports for many of the world's top media outlets. She speaks French, English, German, and Spanish. When not traveling, she lives with her family in Paris.
Alan Skinner - Satellite Communications Advisor
As an expert in the field of satellite communication technology for over 20 years, Alan's role is to make sure that Ray and his team have reliable, effective communication with the outside world at any time, anywhere. Alan is the president and an owner of Satellite Communications Source, in Kitchener, Ontario. SCSI specializes in setting up remote and/or mobile communication solutions using leading-edge satellite technologies such as BGAN, and satellite phone solutions. In his spare time, Alan is an expert skier and a seasoned trail and marathon runner.
Brendan H. Doherty - International Affairs Advisor
Brendan is a lawyer and a diplomat. He currently lives in Kathmandu as the Chief of Party for the non-profit organization The Public International Law and Policy Group (www.pilpg.org). As Chief of Party, Brendan provides legal expertise to the Nepal government as they draft their permanent constitution. Brendan previously spent three years at the U.S. State Department where he advised both the Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues and the Under Secretary for Political Affairs on issues across Africa and before the United Nations. He’s worked in multiple African countries and primarily focused on the intersection of peace, justice, conflict, and politics.
Richard Weber - Arctic Logistics Advisor
Richard has led more than 45 Arctic expeditions from the years 1978-2007. He is unrivalled in the domain of North Pole travel. Richard has spent an unprecedented amount of time travelling on the Arctic Ocean—more than 600 days and nights. In 1995, Richard and his teammate were the only people in history to ski to the north pole and back without resupply. Richard and his wife Josee operate Arctic Watch—the furthest north lodge in the world, and they continue to guide expeditions and trips.
Michael Kenney - Arctic Logistics Advisor
After graduating University from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia in 2000, Michael has been in constant form working and developing logistical solutions World wide for many different clients and personnel. During the past 3 years with Matrix Aviation Solutions Inc. of Yellowknife, Michael has been honing his logistics skills with a real focus on Northern Canada with specialization in the Canadian Arctic. Michael first joined Ray Zahab in the summer of 2007 during Ray’s successful Cross Canada Challenge. Michael is an avid traveler and has spent several years backpacking through Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Kevin Lin - i2P Asia Coordinator
Kevin is an accomplished ultramarathoner, having placed incredibly well in every event that he has ever entered. Kevin was a member of the Running The Sahara team and continues to run in expeditions worldwide. Passionate about our youth, Kevin coordinates adventure camps in his home Taiwan. impossible2Possible is proud to have Kevin coordinating our Asia activities. Kevin is a graduate of National Chung Cheng University, receiving his major from Graduate Institute of Sport and Leisure Education.
Tess Geddes - Advisor
Tess is both an experienced sports event organizer and ultramarathon athlete. While Tess, a Flipina, has had a home in Whistler, British Columbia since 1992, she has been based most of her life in Asia and the Middle East.
Tess has organized many high profile sporting events throughout the world in tennis, golf and stage adventure racing, including working for IMG.
At the recent Winter Olympics in Whistler, Tess worked as a volunteer at the alpine events.
Tess loves ultrarunning and has competed in ultra races in Egypt, Argentina, Chile, Libya, Morocco, France and the US.
Tess is married and her husband is an international investment banker. She has two sons in university.
Dr. Brian J Krabak - Medical Advisor
Brian is a sports medicine physician and ultra-endurance athlete. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at The Mayo Clinic and worked at Johns Hopkins Sports Medicine for over nine years. He currently is a Clinical Associate Professor of Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. His sports medicine experience includes working as a team physician for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, 2002 Winter Olympic Games, the Baltimore Orioles, Johns Hopkins and University of Washington athletes. He is currently Medical Director of Racing The Planet, a series of 150 mile multi-day ultra-endurance races around the world. Brian’s clinical interest is in the non-surgical prevention and treatment of sports related injuries in athletes and active individuals. He is passionate about helping athletes regain their active lifestyle and seeks to support amateur to professional athletes of all ages on a local to international level.
Graham Morfitt - Power Systems Advisor
Graham is owner & president of Modern Outpost Enterprises, a technical company based in Courtenay, BC, Canada that specializes in portable power systems for expeditions (www.modernoutpost.com). The focus is always on the most efficient & lightweight solar charging & battery equipment possible. From iPods to sat phones, cameras to laptops, and just about every kind of electronic device in between. Graham and Modern Outpost are committed to making sure Ray & the i2P team have electrical power wherever their adventures take them.
Graham is a physics graduate from the University of British Columbia, and has worked in the renewable energy industry for the better part of 15 years. In his spare time, Graham is a competitive track & field athlete & coach, and has represented Canada in many international competitions.
Jill Gilday - Youth Ambassador Coordinator
Jill is still riding the wave of positive energy and enthusiasm after being a youth ambassador for Running Tunisia 2010. On the trip she was inspired by all of her incredible teammates and learned that if you want to make a difference the hardest part is taking the first step. Since the expedition she has opted out of the idea of the ‘first step’ and instead jumped head first into initiatives that she feels passionate about. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys any activity that involves breathing fresh air and hopes to try out adventure racing and ultra running when she is finished speed skating. Along with continuing her studies in kinesiology and psychology, and continuing to pursue her goals in short track, Jill is excited to take on this new role with i2P!
John Zahab - Youth Ambassador Fitness Advisor
John is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. He has worked full time in the strength and conditioning field for over ten years, and has had the opportunity to work with athletes from a broad spectrum of sports, including those competing and performing at the national and professional levels. Recent career highlights include the development of strength and conditioning programs, which assisted two Canadian athletes to qualify and compete at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. John has developed his training philosophy to provide targeted training for each individual's needs – based on a foundation of stability and control, functional movement, and balanced strength while progressing towards performance goals.
For almost half of his lifetime John has trained for and has competed in a variety of disciplines of endurance sport. Some areas where he has pushed his endurance limits include: Triathlon (Olympic Distance to Ironman Distance), Bike Racing (Road), Adventure Racing, and Trail Running.
Lucy Wainwright - Youth Ambassador Nutritional Consultant
Lucy is a double Olympian with a passion for the outdoors. Lucy was a finalist at the Athens (2004) and Beijing (2008) Olympic Games competing in the flatwater kayaking singles event for Great Britain. Lucy competed internationally in kayaking for fifteen years winning a number of World Cup medals and becoming European Champion in 2008. Lucy combines her personal sporting experience with her academic qualifications to provide a practical approach to sports nutrition. She has a BSc in Sports Science, a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology as well as an IOC (International Olympic Committee) diploma in Sports Nutrition. Lucy has recently moved to Canada and is already working with national team athletes providing sports nutrition advice. Having recently retired from International competition Lucy has more time to spend doing the other sports she enjoys including, cross country skiing, trail running, swimming and biking.
Jay Ankersmit - Advisor, Athletic Therapist
Throughout his career, in addition to his private practice, Jay has worked as an athletic therapist for the Ottawa Senators NHL franchise, the Ottawa Fury Soccer Club of the United Soccer League, Rugby Canada, and the Ottawa Rebel formerly of the National Lacrosse League. He is particularly proud of his contributions to the successes of the many professional, National Team, Olympic and local athletes he has had the pleasure of working with during his career.
As Director and Head Athletic Therapist of the Ottawa High Performance Centre (www.ohpc.ca), Jay and his professional staff strive to provide the highest quality health and sports performance services available to athletes performing at all levels.
In his role as Athletic Therapist Jay utilizes a variety of assessment and treatment techniques to best suit his patients’ needs in recovery and performance. His combination of the use of myofascial release, mobilization and neurodynamics techniques coupled with traditional treatment modalities gives Jay a unique spectrum of treatment options to address the array of conditions that patients present with.
Jay has been recognized for his professional accomplishments and contributions to local athletes by the Ottawa Business Journal, as a recipient of the 2009 Top 40 Under Forty award.
Nomar Garciaparra - Advisor
In his prime known as one of baseball’s toughest outs, Garciaparra enjoyed a stellar baseball career spanning fourteen seasons (1996-2009). Over his career he amassed a .313 batting average with 229 home runs and over 1,700 hits while competing for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland Athletics. Garciaparra was and continues to be known throughout baseball for his professionalism, preparation, and business-like attitude toward the game.
The Boston Red Sox drafted Garciaparra in the first round of the 1994 draft. He made his major league debut on August, 31, 1996, and got his first hit, a home run, the next day. From there Garciaparra quickly won the starting job at shortstop in Boston and began to emerge as an offensive and defensive star. In his first full season in 1997, Garciaparra hit 30 home runs and drove in 98 runs, setting MLB records for most RBI by a leadoff hitter and most home runs by a rookie shortstop. He was unanimously selected Rookie of the Year and even finished eighth in MVP voting that year.
While in Boston, in 2000, he started his own charitable organization, The Nomar 5 Fund, where he supported community-based organizations that instilled the importance of family, education, sportsmanship, citizenship and teamwork. Garciaparra continues to raise money for philanthropic causes.
Garciaparra was an Olympian in 1992, the youngest to ever make the USA Olympic baseball team. In November 2003, Garciaparra married fellow Olympian and World Cup Champion soccer star Mia Hamm. The couple has twin girls, Grace Isabella and Ava Caroline, who were born in 2007. Garciaparra is also an avid wine and food connoisseur planning to pursue certification as a sommelier. He currently resides with his family in Los Angeles.
Dr. Emma J. Stodel - Advisor
Dr. Emma J. Stodel is an educator, coach, and eLearning consultant with a background in educational and sport psychology. Her formal education includes a BA(Hons) in Psychology (Reading University, England), an M.Sc. in Sport Psychology (Springfield College, USA), and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (University of Ottawa, Canada), followed by research in and practical implementations of eLearning as a Post-Doctoral Fellow.
As a sport psychology consultant, Emma has over a decade’s experience working with National teams and individual athletes, as well as recreational and developing athletes from diverse sports, including table tennis, athletics, golf, ski racing (alpine and nordic), snowboarding, trampoline, figure skating, volleyball, distance running, and shooting.
Kevin Vallely - Videographer & Photographer, Advisor
In 2003 he was named one of Canada's leading adventurers by the Globe and Mail. His adventuring resume is stacked with compelling expeditions to all parts of the world including skiing Alaska’s 1,860-kilometre Iditarod Trail; scampering over Vancouver Island’s West Coast Trail in record time (10 hours, 13 minutes); attempting to bike and climb the island of Java’s 13 -10,000-foot volcanoes (a trip cut short when post-9/11 Indonesia became too dangerous); competing on the only Canadian team to finish the last and most difficult Eco-Challenge adventure race held in Fiji in 2002 and retracing a 2,000-kilometre Klondike-era ice-bike route through the dead of an Alaskan winter. Most recently, as a member of the i2P team, Kevin joined forces with Ray to break the world record for the fastest unsupported trek to the South Pole in 2009 and to make the fastest traverse of Siberia's frozen Lake Baikal in 2010. As the i2P videographer Kevin brings a wealth of filming experience from of the most challenging environments on earth.
James Moll - Film Maker, Advisor
Emmy and Oscar winning filmmaker James Moll is a director and producer of non-fiction films. He received an Academy Award in 1999 for directing and editing the feature documentary The Last Days that chronicled the lives of five Hungarian Holocaust survivors.
Moll is currently preparing to direct his first narrative feature, Emmett Till. Based on the memoir by Mamie Till-Mobley, the film focuses on the historic 1955 Mississippi murder that galvanized the civil rights movement. Other upcoming projects include an HBO documentary Epilogue of the Pacific with executive producers Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, to accompany the 2010 mini-series The Pacific.
Moll most recently completed the feature documentary Running the Sahara, with executive producer Matt Damon. Filmed in eight countries, the film follows three elite athletes as they attempt to run two marathons a day, for more than 100 days, across the entire Sahara Desert.
In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Moll established and operated The Shoah Foundation (currently the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education) with Steven Spielberg for the purpose of videotaping Holocaust survivor testimonies around the world. The Foundation videotaped over 50,000 testimonies, in 57 countries. Moll also produced an interactive CD-ROM, Survivors, narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio.
Moll established Allentown Productions to develop and produce fact-based theatrical and television films. He is a member of the DGA, the Television Academy, the Motion Picture Academy, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Documentary Branch of the Motion Picture Academy. Sean James Boyer - Composer, Advisor
Sean James Boyer is a post-secondary educated musician and composer with advanced knowledge and experience in post-production media for television and film. His passion for music began at the age of 11 when he picked up his first guitar. Sean has made music a priority in his life ever since, gaining invaluable practical experience as a member of several bands over the course of 15 years. After completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree at McMaster University in French, and his Diploma in Music from Mohawk College, both in Hamilton, Ontario, Sean expanded his knowledge of digital audio recording and composing jingles at an in-house production company.
Sean has previously partnered with adventurer J. Brett Rogers on his feature documentary entitled 100 Days On The Yukon. As the sole composer for the documentary, he undertook the responsibility of capturing the feel and timbre of the story of a 3000 kilometer journey down the Yukon River, on a homemade raft with no amenities, to raise awareness of environmental issues. Nick Gravel, B.Eng (Communications), has over 8 years experience in sales, marketing and internet communications. Nick is actively involved with the growth of i2P's web presence and the ongoing development of two way communication with students during expeditions.
